What Is A Good Age To Get Married For A Woman; Both parents and young adults ask this question quite often, each wanting to make sure that new marriages are established upon the strongest foundation of life experience, maturity, as well as educational and financial security. A new study suggests that people should get married between the ages of 28 and 32 if they don’t want to get divorced, at least in the first five years.

But in a study released last month, University of Utah researcher Nicholas Wolfinger, PhD, asserts there is actually an optimal age range for lasting marriage and you shouldn’t wait too long. He found that likelihood of divorce is lowest when you get hitched between the ages of 28 and 32.
There are lots of reasons why late 20s/early 30s would make wisdom as a time to start a lifelong company with someone: people are old enough to understand if they really get along with someone or are just blinded by hormones.
There are practical reasons for the mid-20s dividing line, and most of them boil down to two giants: education and money. They’ve already made significant life choices and taken on some responsibilities. And they may be just financially solvent enough to be able to contemplate supporting someone should the need arise.
Turns out, the more years of higher education a woman has under her belt on her wedding day, the lower the chances that she’ll get divorced and by 25, you’re more likely to have earned a degree or two. “Educated women tend to be More confident about who they are and less willing to settle for a man who doesn’t meet their standards,” explains Terri Orbuch, PhD.
“Marriage: Love is the reason. Lifelong friendship is the gift. Kindness is the cause. Til’ death do us part is the length.”
